Tiffany Lockets

Super excited to receive this email from Tiffany & Co., this morning just in time for Valentine's Day!

A few years ago, I was asked to letter the words 'I love you' for their heart lockets and every time I see the lockets featured in an ad (or anywhere) my heart literally skips a beat!  Something magical about those three little words!

Tiffany & Co. Holiday Event Calligraphy

Last week I had the great pleasure to create table stationery for a holiday event at Tiffany & Co. in New York . Silver calligraphy was used throughout and added sparkle to the elegant white-on-white setting.   Since I was on site to take care of last minute calligraphy needs, I was able to take a few photos.  Here are some details for inspiration!

I've been following Sage Wedding Pros for quite some time, always appreciating the great business advice and resources they offer. I was thrilled to finally meet founder, Michelle Loretta and Kelly Simants in New York last spring at The Simple Plan, a 2-day workshop they crafted that's full of ideas for business planning, specifically tailored for wedding professionals. It was a great experience for me to not only focus on my business, but to connect with the great group of wedding professionals that attended!

So happy to have been featured in the latest Newsday Bridal Planner! This beautiful Sunday section is filled with wonderful wedding inspiration, gorgeous bridal fashion and great tips for couples planning a wedding on Long Island.

It was such a treat sitting down with editor Michele Ingrassia to talk about wedding trends, invitations and calligraphy, especially since I know she loves these subjects as much as I do!

Stationery Show Inspiration!

As an invitation designer and calligrapher, of course I'm obsessed with paper!  I look forward to the National Stationery Show for inspiration, new materials and techniques and just to see what's out there. It was wonderful to be surrounded by everything paper for two lovely days this week. So glad I live in New York!

Soho Paper's booth was one of my first stops and they did not disappoint! I can't wait to start using their new patterns and shapes for my invitations and to show all the possibilities to my brides!

Love the die cutting around the pockets. It adds such lovely detail.

Love these laser cut dragonflies, decorating Soho Paper's booth. 

So pretty and sculptural in gold on the turquoise.

And speaking of laser cutting, Do It With More Options 
had a dramatic display that really caught my eye!  

 Also loved their adorable favor boxes!
