Engage!13

I am thrilled to share images from Engage!13: The Biltmore Estate, the latest Engaging Concepts luxury wedding summit.

Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce are the masterminds behind these fabulous events and working with them is always a wonderful experience.

I was honored when they asked me to create the lettering for the logo and branding. Collaborating with their top notch design team was a delight. Seeing my work beautifully integrated into the luxury experience of Engage and the Biltmore awed me. The craft and attention to detail was magical.

The fabulous designers I worked with included Heather Arak and Susan Turnock from Gifts for the Good Life, Nathan Kanofsky from Arak Kanofsky, Trisha Hay, Kristy Rice from Momental Designs, Vanessa Kreckel from Two Paper Dolls and Ross Tanner from Flosites.  Love you all!

Here's a look at some of the hand lettering with images of the beautiful signage and swag that it appeared on.

Working closely with Heather Arak, I created the icons below that showcase the Engage "E" woven into a lattice design that evokes the Vanderbilt monogram used throughout The Biltmore Estate.

Seeing the Biltmore House lit up with the icon for the Gala festivities took my breath away!  Heather tweeted the Biltmore House image below with the hashtag 'careerhighlight' and I couldn't agree more!  The ice sculpture is mighty cool too!

Lettering with Joy

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tiny Prints.   The lettering I created was for a series of holiday cards, but I think the message holds true all year.  Wishing you and your family much joy!

Tiffany Lockets

Super excited to receive this email from Tiffany & Co., this morning just in time for Valentine's Day!

A few years ago, I was asked to letter the words 'I love you' for their heart lockets and every time I see the lockets featured in an ad (or anywhere) my heart literally skips a beat!  Something magical about those three little words!

More things to swoon over from Tiffany & Co. here.

Below is an ad from last year that featured the lettering on a rose gold locket

Tiffany & Co. Holiday Event Calligraphy

Last week I had the great pleasure to create table stationery for a holiday event at Tiffany & Co. in New York . Silver calligraphy was used throughout and added sparkle to the elegant white-on-white setting.   Since I was on site to take care of last minute calligraphy needs, I was able to take a few photos.  Here are some details for inspiration!

I've been following Sage Wedding Pros for quite some time, always appreciating the great business advice and resources they offer. I was thrilled to finally meet founder, Michelle Loretta and Kelly Simants in New York last spring at The Simple Plan, a 2-day workshop they crafted that's full of ideas for business planning, specifically tailored for wedding professionals. It was a great experience for me to not only focus on my business, but to connect with the great group of wedding professionals that attended!

Thanks Michelle and Kelly!  I am honored to be included in your Insider to Insider series.   Read the full interview here
